Sex therapy is a specialized form of talk therapy that helps individuals and couples understand and improve their intimate lives. Despite the name, there is no sexual contact or physical touch during sex therapy sessions. Instead, we explore the emotional, relational, psychological, and physical factors that influence intimacy and sexual well-being.
As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I have completed advanced education, specialized clinical training, and supervised experience in sex therapy. My role is to provide a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space where you can openly discuss concerns that may feel difficult to talk about elsewhere.
Together, we work to understand what is getting in the way of the connection, pleasure, or intimacy you desire. Whether you are navigating changes in your relationship, recovering from betrayal or trauma, adjusting to pregnancy or medical changes, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself or your partner, you do not have to figure it out alone.
I help clients address concerns such as:
• Differences in sexual desire or mismatched libidos
• Low sexual desire and arousal concerns
• Erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE)
• Pain during intimacy and other sexual concerns
• Performance anxiety and sexual confidence
• Difficulties with communication and emotional intimacy
• Healing from sexual trauma, shame, or betrayal
• Pregnancy, postpartum, menopause, and other life transitions that affect intimacy
Because sexuality is deeply connected to our emotional health, we also explore how anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship conflict, and past experiences may be influencing your intimate life. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic, body-aware interventions to support healing for both the mind and body.
My goal is not simply to improve your sex life. It is to help you build emotional safety, strengthen communication, reconnect with your body, deepen intimacy, and create a relationship where you and your partner can feel understood, desired, and connected.
Whether you come as an individual or as a couple, you will be met with compassion, respect, and practical guidance as we work together toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with yourself and the people you love.
